A special screening of Laurence Olivier's landmark 1944 adaption of Shakespeare's epic play as part of the Beverley 1300 festival.

In the midst of the Hundred Years' War, the young King Henry V of England (played by Olivier) leads a weary and vastly outnumbered English army of unarmoured archers to victory over the French knights of Normandy at the Battle of Agincourt (1415).

Shot in Technicolour, and with a sweeping score by William Walton, the film marked Olivier's triumphant debut as a director, earning him a special Oscar.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to see this classic movie at Beverley's independent cinema.
