A Danish priest journeys into the unknown in Hlynur Pálmason's meditative drama Godland, which received its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Travelling across Iceland's ruggedly beautiful, yet inhospitable, terrain, the clergyman strengthens his resolve to set up a church in a remote community.
